It is said that the therapeutic benefit of one recovering addict or alcoholic helping another addict or alcoholic is without parallel.

As recovering addicts and alcoholics ourselves, we realise the risks and challenges that other recovering people face in their everyday lives.

We also realise the risks facing recovering people who lead busy personal, social or business lives and the potential for relapse should this not be countered by appropriate support, help and guidance.

As a result, we have created a service for people in recovery to ensure that they are supported and escorted by a Recovery Associate whilst on business, on tour, on holiday, at a special event such as a wedding, funeral, award ceremony or party, or during a difficult personal time where there is a need to be surrounded by other recovering people.

Our Recovery Associates are not a substitute for a Twelve Step "Sponsor"  and aim to support and compliment this crucial relationship, rather than replace it.

In addition to providing Recovery Associates, we also provide a range of other related services including 24 hour crisis support, an addiction "Intervention" service, addiction therapy and home or inpatient detox and access to rehab. Please see our "Other services" section for further details.

Our Recovery Associates are recovering men and women with at least three years of continuos sobriety and who have been carefully selected and trained by us to provide effective, safe and discreet support to others. 

Depending on the event, the Recovery Associate will help to develop a programme of recovery which could include attendance at twelve-step recovery meetings, time for reflection and meditation, contact with a sponsor, daily readings from recovery related literature, journal writing, online recovery meetings as well as guidance and support in general recovery related matters.

Our Recovery Associates are trained to blend and adapt to their environment and to the circumstances of each event and are as comfortable in a business suit or evening wear as summer or casual wear.
